Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine & Surgery (B.A.M.S.)
BAMS is the oldest traditional and ancient medical course that students from various corners of the country want to pursue. It is a 5 years and 6 month course. It is categorised in to three theoretical and one practical section. The academic session will take 4.5 years to complete and one year students have to go for an internship programme where they will be taught with live practical.
B.A.M.S. Degree Course Ayurvedic Education should aim at producing graduates of Profound Scholarship having basis of Ayurveda with Scientific knowledge in accordance with Ayurvedic fundamentals with Extensive Practical training who would be able and efficient Teachers, Research Workers & Kayachikitsak (Physicians) & Shalya Chikitsak (Surgeons) fully competent to serve in the Medical and Health Service of the country.
Eligibility for BAMS
Candidates will be selected for the BAMS course on the basis of marks secured in the NEET entrance examination or College entrance examination.
