To pursue the Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) course at Dehradun Institute of Medical
Sciences (DIMS), candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:
Educational Qualifications: Candidates must have passed any examination equivalent to the Higher
Secondary Certificate (H.S.C.) or (10+2) from a recognized Board/University after completing 12 years of
study.
Minimum Percentage: Applicants from the general category must have secured a minimum of 50% aggregate
marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (P.C.B.) in the qualifying examination. Similarly, candidates
from reserved categories must obtain a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in P.C.B.
Age Criteria: Candidates should have completed a minimum of 18 years of age on or before December 31,
2019, and should not exceed the maximum age limit of 35 years as on December 31, 2019.
